Time Stop Journey #2: The Great Migration
In this section of our journey, we will follow Robert as he guides us through the Great Migration. Take time to carefully watch the videos; review the newspaper articles; listen to stories from various people who lived and/or experienced these events; and complete each listed task. If you have any questions, touch base with your teacher!

The Chicago Defender was a paper based in Chicago, Illinois. This paper played a HUGE part in the Great Migration, the promotion of civil rights, and influencing others to speak out as well as to rethink the "status quo".Click on the image to be brought to an overview of the paper and its history.
